Join me for a sacred and transformative ceremony as we honor the Celtic Goddess Brigid and celebrate the cross-quarter sacred day of IMBOLC! This ritual will mark the return of the light and the awakening of new possibilities for healing, creation, and growth.

Opening Ritual:
We will begin by smudging and opening the Sacred Directions, setting the space with intention and reverence.

Introduction to Brigid:
Brigid is one of the most revered deities in Celtic mythology, known as the Goddess of Healing, Poetry, Smithcraft, and the Hearth. She embodies the energy of transformation, inspiration, and creativity. Brigid is the patroness of healers, poets, and blacksmiths, and her power is said to ignite the flame of both physical and spiritual healing. As the goddess of the hearth, she represents the warmth and nurturing energy of the home and family, as well as the ability to forge new paths in life, much like the blacksmith shapes metal. IMBOLC, the sacred day that honors her, ushers in a time of cleansing, renewal, and creative potential, making it the perfect moment to align with Brigid’s energy.

Guiding Question:
Before diving deeper into the ceremony, we will check in with the guiding question: What are you ready for Brigid to heal, release into her sacred fire, and help you create?

Singing Her In:
We will sing a welcoming song to Brigid, invoking her presence and blessings.

Guided Meditation:
Journey with Brigid to the Sacred Well (or alternatively, the Forge, as she is the patron goddess of Smithcraft), where she will offer each participant a symbol, message, or insight to guide their path.

Share and Witness:
After the meditation, we will have time for participants to share and witness each other’s experiences, offering a space for connection and reflection.

Blessing Shawls & Cloths:
As a sacred closing ritual, participants are invited to bring a cloth or shawl to be blessed by Brigid. The shawls will be draped on the altar in a powerful, sacred way, and Brigid will bless the entire altar, gifting everyone with her energy to carry home.
